Mark Cooper is an assistant professor at the University of California, Davis. He is a member of the Department of Human Ecology, the Department of Animal Science, and the Geography Graduate Group. Mark received his Ph.D. in Geography from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2016 and held postdoctoral positions at the College of William and Mary and Lund University.
His research focuses on political ecology and political economy of agriculture, climate change politics and policy, and applied animal ethics, with particular geographical focus on New Zealand and California.
