
Dina Bolokan (University of Bath) and Prisca Pfammatter (University of Bern) invite abstract submissions for a special issue:
We would like to share our Call for Papers on the theme “Thinking Agriculture from the Margins: Intersectional Perspectives”. This call aims to reimagine sustainable and just agricultural practices beyond traditional farming models by focusing on the contributions of women, migrant workers, queer communities, and others at the margins.
The call invites contributions that critically engage with themes such as:
- Gendered and Sexual Relations in Rural Life and Agricultural Labor
- Queer Perspectives on Farm Life and Work
- Migration and Racism in Agriculture
- Disability and Agriculture
- Human and More-Than-Human Relationships
- Practical Examples and Case Studies promoting sustainability and justice
- Future Visions for Sustainable Agriculture
The deadline for abstract submissions is June 30, 2025.
