Organic Trust Australia – Research and Education offers Travel Grants to people in Australia to assist with expenses for attending a conference, workshop or other event where the person is presenting research or other information involving some aspect of organic agriculture in Australia. The Trust have expanded the range of recipients to include anyone actively involved in research and education.

In 2015, they will offer two grants of $1000 each to assist with expenses for attending a national or international conference or other events for recipients to present their results about organic research and education activities. This must specifically involve some aspect of organic agriculture in Australia. The topic can cover any part of the industry including plant and animal production, soil management, extension, economics, marketing, food science, education and training, and policy and governance.

Applications must be submitted by 31 October 2015 and the funds must be spent by the recipient and claimed from the Trust, by 31 December 2016 or the offer will lapse.
